Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan discuss epidemiological situation in region

AKIPRESS.COM - The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan held a phone conversation on April 9 to discuss the current epidemiological situation in two countries and Central Asia on the whole, the Uzbek president's press service reported. The Presidents emphasized importance of coordination of actions, prompt response to requested assistance and maintenance of close contacts between line health and other agencies for effective fight against coronavirus infection.
The leaders discussed priority areas of bilateral cooperation and ongoing regional exchange projects.
