Home quarantined citizens monitoried via mobile app with their consent - IT Committee

AKIPRESS.COM - The State Information Technologies and Communication Committee announced about launch of the digital monitoring system remotely tracking health condition and compliance with quarantine requirements of people under home quarantine.
"The system installed via a mobile application dowloaded with consent of a person under home quarantine allows to monitor the health condition through submitted basic indicators by quarantined persons. The mobile app allows to send a message to medical workers via SOS button. The geolocation is tracked via the movbile app," the State IT and Communication Committee said.
The monitoring system is piloted. When its testing ends, it will be handed over to the Ministry of Health for further use.
The mobile app was developed by local IT specialists.
The resource is confidential and is intended for official use only. The system can be accessed by a restricted number of officials responsible for prevention and liquidation of consequences of emergency situation.
