AKIPRESS.COM - Volunteers, citizens who founded public associations and provide support to citizens in need encounter difficulties as they do not have pases, MP Baktybek Sydykov (Respublika-Ata Jurt) said today in Parliament.
Bishkek commandant Almaz Orozaliev said lots of pass applications are submitted.
"We refer charity organizations to the mayor's office, which coordinates distribution of humanitarian aid. We can't issue passes to every citizen," the commandant responded.
MP Sydykov added one of the public organizations with 5,000 members does not have a single pass.
"Online pass submission system is launched, they should submit their pass applications. We will consider the applications and issue pass. But we can't issue passes to all 5,000 people in the organization," Orozaliev said.
First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said the passes are not issued on company or public association criteria.
"Passes are issued to food stores, pharmacies and medical workers. Charity organizations may receive one time or temporary pases," Boronov said.
