Kyrgyz athletes won 1,306 medals in 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz athletes won 1,306 medals in 2019, said the deputy head of the State Sports Agency Kanatbek Arpachiyev at the press conference in Bishkek on March 5.
According to him, Kyrgyzstanis won 442 gold, 367 silver and 497 bronze medals.
1,860 tournaments were held in Kyrgyzstan, including 125 tournaments were international," he said.
The state agency paid benefits to 214 athletes in the amount of 36.2 million soms in 2019.
