Situation with Covid-19 outbreak remains difficult in Naryn region - governor

AKIPRESS.COM - The situation remains difficult in Naryn region, region governor Emilbek Alymkulov said.
The number of contacts of the confirmed cases reached 1,590.
The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the region made 297. 128 patients recovered already. 158 still remain in hospitals. One lethal case was registered.
"17 new Covid-19 cases were confirmed today. 15 of these cases were confirmed at the maternity hospital in Naryn. Patients recovered from coronavirus in Ak-Tala and Jumgal districts. 123 people still remain in observation points, 321 are still quarantined at home," the governor said.
Some departments of the regional hospitals are closed due to Covid-19 outbreak.
Mobile teams operate in all districts of the region. 2,000 tests were made in total so far, the governor said.
