AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz Temir Jolu state railroad company is implementing a project to build the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railroad, said General Director of the enterprise Vasily Dashkov.
All agreements with the parties have already been reached. There are no obstacles, only a few negotiations left to be held and then the construction will begin.
"As for financing, both the Russian and Uzbek sides are ready to help us. The project will cost $4.5 billion," Dashkov said.
He also noted that the railroad will pass through the south of the country to create a beltway and avoid paying for transit through neighboring countries.
