Corona-taxi may appear in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Taxi service may be launched in Kazakhstan to serve people infected with COVID-19, Health Minister Alexey Tsoy said, zakon.kz reported.
The number of calls to ambulance service grew 1.8 times across Kazakhstan and 2-2.5 times in Almaty and Nur-Sultan lately, the Minister said.
The ambulance service is overloaded in the result, he said.
The deals were signed for supply of 807 domestically produced ambulances.
The experience of other countries is considered, where fleet of vehicles of non-medical organizations were used, kind of corona-taxis.
These suggestions were submitted to the interdepartmental commission for consideration and, hopefully, they will be supported, the Minister said.
