AKIPRESS.COM - Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund allocated additional funds in the amount of 104.8 million soms to provide the medical staff of hospitals, clinics, observation points and city hospitals with personal protective equipment, Bishkek Mayor's Office reported. According to the mayor's office, the funds have been fully used for purchases. At the moment, the capital's medical organizations have sufficient supplies of personal protective equipment.
Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund allocated 1.5 billion soms to Bishkek since the beginning of pandemic. Most were used for salaries of health workers and contributions to the social fund - 1.2 billion soms (65.1%), for the purchase of medicines and medical devices - 364.3 million soms (23.1% ), utilities - 87.5 million soms (5.5%) and others. Almost 50 million soms were allocated only for personal protective equipment.
