President of Uzbekistan awards medical workers who died in COVID-19 fight

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev ordered to award honorary titles and medals to some workers in healthcare, science, education, literature, culture, art and the media spheres. The medical workers received ranks and orders for their contribution to the healthcare system development and fight against the pandemic.
The head of the lung tuberculosis surgery department of the National Center for Pulmonology, an anesthesiologist-resuscitator, a senior nurse and a doctor at a family clinic from Tashkent were awarded "Zhasorat" medal ("For Courage") posthumously, the president's press service reported.
Other workers received titles and orders for development of science, culture and art as well as active participation in the life of society.
