State of emergency becomes effective in Bishkek since 8.00 p.m. of Oct 9

AKIPRESS.COM - The state of emergency became effective in Bishkek since 8.00 p.m. of October 9, the president's press service reported. According to the article 4 of the constitutional law on state of emergency, in the interest of safety of citizens or protection of constitutional order of the Kyrgy Republic, the President declares the state of emergency in case of social crisis situations (armed revolt, ethnic conflicts, violent mass disorders, etc.) and immediately informs the Parliament about this.
In accordance with the article 9 of the constitutional law on state of emergency, the Parliament should approve the presidential order declaring the state of emergency within 3 days or cancel it.
This means the presidential order declaring the state of emergency remains effective within 3 days during which the Parliament should approve the order or cancel it, since the order becomes effective since its signing.
