Omurbek Tekebayev set to reinstate his parliamentary mandate

AKIPRESS.COM - Politician Omurbek Tekebayev intends to reinstate his parliamentary mandate.
Omurbek Tekebayev submitted the petition to the Central Election Commission, which was supposed to be considered today.
The meeting was postponed until next week, the Central Election Commission said.
Omurbek Tekebayev was stripped of mandate in November 2017 when he was convicted on corruption charges and was imprisoned.
His mandate was passed to Iskender Gaipkulov in December 2017.
