Ex-President Atambayev's sons detained

AKIPRESS.COM - Ex-President Almazbek Atambayev and his sons were detained on October 10 in Koi-Tash village. Atambayev's spouse Raisa Atambayeva told AKIpress about the details of detention.
She said the family event was planned today in their house in Koi-Tash, after Almazbek Atambayev survived yesterday's shooting attack at Ala-Too square. "You know that yesterday at the square they shot into the car of Almazbek Atambayev. The rally was peaceful. People were unarmed, they were just marching from the Media Forum. We wanted to hold the tuloo family event, since he luckily escaped the bullets," she said.
"We were here with relatives. When suddenly our friends told us 10 armored vehicles, 6-7 big buses are heading in our direction. Almazbek Atambayev told me to take children out of the place. We were about to depart, the gate opened and my car ran into the armored vehicle. They ran out of the vehicle with guns, opened the car doors, threw children on the ground and started kicking them. I tried to defend each of children, three of them - Temirlan, Seit and Kadyr," she said.
"I do not know what happened to Almazbek Atambayev. The children were held on the cold ground for 2 hours as if they are terrorists," she said.
The special task force detained Kadyr Atambayev, Seit Atambayev and Temirlan Sultanbekov, as well as a driver, she said.
