Jeenbekov discusses stabilization of situation in Kyrgyzstan with First Deputy Prosecutor General, National Security Committee First Vice Chairman

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today met with First Deputy Prosecutor General Nurlan Dardanov and First Vice Chairman of the State National Security Committee Talantbek Saliev to discuss the measures to strengthen rule of law and public order in the country, the president's press service reported. Nurlan Dardanov said the investigation of mass disorders in Bishkek is ongoing. He said the White House [building shared by the Parliament and the President] was taken over by the state bodies after it was guarded for vigilant citizens since night of October 5.
First Vice Chairman of the State National Security Committee Talantbek Saliev said the national security agenciy is locating destructive groups that try to disrupt public order in the current situation.
The actions are taken to prevent destabilization of the socio-political situation in the country in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies.
It was announced earlier Orozbek Opumbayev was dismissed by the President from the post of the State National Security Committee's Chairman.
General Prosecutor Otkurbek Jamshitov reportedly returned to his work place on October 11. The post of the Prosecutor General was taken over by Chon Kazat party member Syimyk Jypykeyev.
