Rallies banned during state of emergency: Commandant

AKIPRESS.COM - Rallies are prohibited during the state of emergency, the Bishkek commandant's office told AKIpress on October 14.
Mass events such protests, meetings, rallies, marching, demonstrations, pickets are prohibited during the state of emergency, the statement said.
No provocations or offenses were recorded last night as curfew is in force in Bishkek these days.
"The city is completely under the control of law enforcement bodies and volunteer guards," the statement said.
President Sooronbai Jeenbekov declared the state of emergency in Bishkek until October 19.
The curfew is in effect in Bishkek from 10.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.
