Court releases Raim Matraimov, imposes 2-months travel ban after plea-bargaining with investigation

AKIPRESS.COM - Pervomay district court of Bishkek imposed 2-months travel ban on Raimbek Matraimov on October 20 after he plea-bargained with the investigation.
Matraimov is ready to compensate 2 billion soms in damages, said the National Security Committee in a statement earlier today.
Matraimov was delivered for interrogation by the anti-corruption service of the National Security Committee on October 20 on corruption charges.
Preliminary damage caused by Matraimov amounted to 2 billion soms, the statement said.
Matraimov plea-bargained with investigation and is ready to compensate the damage fully by the end of November this year, the statement said. First installment of 80 million soms ($1 million) has already been received by the GKNB, the statement said.
