AKIPRESS.COM - 10 km of fishing nets were removed from Lake Issyk-Kul, Issyk-Kul state reserve chief Chorobek Chukumbaev said.
The check was conducted to prevent poaching, he said.
Rangers of Jety-Oguz and Issyk-Kul districts participated in the inspection.
70-80 fishing nets were extracted from the lake in Jety-Oguz district. The nets were destroyed.
