Claim against ex-President Jeenbekov submitted to National Security Committee, Interior Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - The claim against ex-President Sooronbai Jeenbekov was forwarded to the State National Security Committee and the Interior Ministry, the General Prosecutor's Office told AKIpress.
Several citizens claimed earlier they were injured during dispersal of post-election protesters at Ala-Too square on October 5-6 by riot police.
They filed a claim to the General Prosecutor's Office asking to take actions against then President Sooronbai Jeenbekov for giving the order to police to disperse demonstrators forcibly and to strip him of his ex-President status.
The claim was forwarded to the State National Security Committee and the Interior Ministry on February 1.
