President Tokayev meets Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev met with Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who arrived in Nur-Sultan on a working visit on February 18.
The current bilateral cooperation and its prospects were in focus of discussions.
A particular attention was paid to development and implementation of joint programs and projects aimed to bolster bilateral trade, expansion of industrial cooperation, intensification of direct contacts between businesses and regions, arrangement of cultural and humanitarian events.
The views were exchanged on current situation in Central Asia, opportunities for further expansion and deepening of regional cooperation, plans of reaching new promising markets.
Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov also met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdy.
Key aspects of bilateral relations were considered. The plans for further broadening of multifaceted cooperation in areas of mutual interest were identified.
