Ex-President join Japarov to pay tribute to April 2010 revolution heroes

AKIPRESS.COM - On April 7, President Sadyr Japarov paid tribute to the memory of the fallen heroes of the April People's Revolution. This was reported by the president's press service. The event, held at the Ata-Beyit National Historical and Memorial Complex, was attended by Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Talant Mamytov, Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov, acting Chairman of the Supreme Court Nurgul Bakirova, and former presidents Roza Otunbayeva and Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
They laid flowers at memorials to those killed in 1916, victims of political repressions of 1937-1938, heroes of April 2010 revolution and the grave of writer Chingiz Aitmatov, and read a memorial prayer.
A flower laying ceremony was held at the monument to those who died for the freedom of the people during the Aksy events of 2002 and April events of 2010 in Ala-Too square of Bishkek.
