Chief of the Presidential Administration conveyed condolences from President to Maria Aitmatova's relatives

AKIPRESS.COM - A memorial service for Maria Aitmatova was held at the Aitmatov House Museum on April 21. Chief of the Presidential Administration Kudaibergen Bazarbayev delivered a message of condolence from President Sadyr Japarov.
"Great people have great spouses, Maria Aitmatova did everything to make her husband's works shine," he said.
Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Kairat Imanaliev expressed his condolences to Maria Aitmatova's relatives.
"First of all, we lost a person of culture. She worked in the sphere of cinematography and contributed to the development of Kyrgyz cinema. She made a great contribution to the House Museum named after Chingiz Aitmatov. May she rest in peace," he said.
