10 Kyrgyzstanis released from captivity in Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The governor of International village of Leilek district of Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, Murzabek Jumabaev, was released from captivity after the talks.
Nine Kyrgyzstanis were released along with the village governor. They were met by Kyrgyz Deputy Interior Minister Suyun Omurzakov and Tajik Deput Interior Minister Ibrohimzoda Nozim on the border.
The talks on release of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan were held by Batken region governor Omurbek Suvanaliev and Sughd region governor Rajobboi Ahmadzoda.
The released citizens were taken to the medical facility for check-up.
Batken region police department said the Kyrgyz citizens were taken captive on April 30. The Tajik side returned UAZ offroad vehicle as well.
In the morning of April 30, Batken region police department reported that Tajik troops captured houses of Kyrgyz citizens. International village govenror Myrzabek Jumabaev went to the area to check information about two died people and was taken captive by Tajik citizens.
