Mudflow and showers break a road in rural village of Jalal-Abad

AKIPRESS.COM - A mudflow occurred in Sumsar village of Chatkal district of Jalal-Abad region, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations. A heavy rainfall on May 10 afternoon caused damage to part of Zapravka canal shore, 10 km of the Shekaftar-Sumsar road, said the ministry. Despite the risks to traffic, the road was not blocked.
In addition, the yard of Sumsar secondary school was flooded. Rescuers arrived on the place. The cleanup works are planned after the water level in the canal is lowered.
