14 injured in helicopter emergency landing, 1 in severe condition

AKIPRESS.COM - 14 injured in the crash-landing of a helicopter of the Armed Forces were taken to the Osh Interregional Combined Hospital by ambulance, the Ministry of Health reported. 5 of them were hospitalized in the burn unit with various degrees of burns, 1 in traumatology and 3 in neurosurgery unit. The condition of one of the injured is assessed as severe, four - as moderate and the remaining four - as relatively satisfactory.
All are receiving appropriate treatment. The other 5 injured were transferred to a military hospital after receiving first aid, the report said.
As a result of a crash landing, the helicopter caught fire, said the Defense Ministry. The incident occurred on June 4 at 12:45. A helicopter of the Air Defense Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic made an emergency landing near the village of Kichi-Alai, Nookat district, Osh region.
The Defense Ministry said 15 citizens were aboard, including 12 passengers and 3 crew members.
