Former Chief of President's Administration Farid Niyazov had several heart attacks in remand prison, his lawyer says

AKIPRESS.COM - Former Chief of President's Administration Farid Niyazov had several heart attacks in the remand prison, his lawyer Zamir Jooshev said.
Former Chief of President's Administration Farid Niyazov has stage 3 hypertension of 3rd high-risk degree, he said.
"Due to lack of required medical treatment, he had several heart attacks for the last several months," the lawyer added.
Farid Niyazov was detained on 8 August 2019 in Koi-Tash village. He was taken to the remand prison under suspicion of organization of mass disorders and hostage taking. After post-election protests in October 2020 he was detained with other cronies of former President Almazbek Atambayev.
On October 10, 2020, Farid Niyazov was taken to the remand prison again. This time he was accused of organization of mass disorders at Ala-Too square on October 9, 2020. Social Democrats leader Temirlan Sultanbekov and former officers of the State Guard Service Kanat Sagymbaev were detained on the same charges, but were released later.
