Bishkek, June 4, 2019. /Kabar/. The Chinese Embassy in Bishkek presented 150 books "Keepers of the Universe" by Kyrgyz author Rysbek Abdysatarov to the capital’s school № 95 with the advanced study of Chinese.
Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen, book’s author Rysbek Abdysatarov and parents of pupils of school № 95 took part in the event.
"Today is a very significant event, we present to this school 150 books by the Kyrgyz author Rysbek Abdysatarov. In addition, this is my first visit to the specialized school № 95 with advanced study of Chinese. Today, children have shown their knowledge and skills of the Chinese language, and the results are impressive. Children are the future. Kyrgyz and Chinese have lived side by side in peace and harmony since ancient times. I think that these children will continue to develop friendly relations between our countries in the future. I would like to emphasize that we, for our part, will continue to support this school," the ambassador noted.
"Before that the book was published in Kyrgyz and Russian languages. Then the book was translated into Russian by the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. Then we distributed the book to children of migrants in Russia. This time the book was translated into Chinese with the support of the Chinese Embassy and handed over to this school," Rysbek Abysatarov said.
The solemn handover of the books was accompanied by a concert program of the school's pupils.
The school № 95 in Bishkek was built for a Chinese grant and was opened in 2017.
