Two children found dead inside old fridge in Issyk-Kul

AKIPRESS.COM - 2 boys aged 4 and 5 were found dead inside an old fridge in Mihailovka village, Issyk-Kul region, police said.
The accident occurred on June 3. The boys were playing in the yard and then went missing. Both parents who were home first tried to locate their children on their own, but then called the police. About 150 local inhabitants and children joined the search operation which lasted about 6 hours.
Boys were reportedly found by a local boy, who opened the fridge, at 17:00 the same day. Doctors pronounced them dead.
The children were buried.
Mihailovka is home to 3,195 people as of June 2016 census. Locals are mainly engaged in farming and animal husbandry.
