President Tokayev gets back from vacation

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev today returned from his a short-term vacation, Akorda press service reported. The head of state received Minister of Defense Nurlan Ermekbayev to discuss restoration works in the city of Arys.
The President was informed about measures on search and clean-up of the territory from explosive devices and restoration activities carried out in the city.
According to Ermekbayev, about 3,000 tons of firearms have been removed from the military warehouses to safer places.
Earlier, the President severely reprimanded the Minister for the shortcomings in the work after explosions in Arys.
Tokayev went on vacation on July 22. He has been spending time in Mangistau region.
