Karakol hosts Japanese Culture Days

AKIPRESS.COM - Karakol town hosted Japan Days on occasion of 150th anniversary of town and 80th anniversary of Issyk-Kul region on Sept 12-13. The presentation about Japan, educational programs of the Japanese government for high school students and university students, demonstration and master classes by federations of Japanese martial arts as aikido, judo and sumo were held at the Issyk-Kul state university.
The guests and participants of the event also participated in master classes on calligraphy, origami and traditional children's games.
