#Bishkeksmog campaign: Police urge protesters to disperse

AKIPRESS.COM - Residents outraged by air quality in Bishkek are rallying today at the Ala-Too square.
The law enforcement officers asked the participants to disperse and showed the judicial ban on holding rallies and protests until January 1.
Activist of the rally Aziza Abdirasulova told police officers that this ban is not applied to them, as their campaign is peaceful.
"This is our common problem, we are acting within the law, Constitution. We demand authorities to recognize the problem and start acting, resolving the CHPP problem, electricity, cars and so on," she said.
