10 weapons seized during raid in Issyk-Kul region

AKIPRESS.COM - The directorate of Internal Affairs of the Issyk-Kul region hosted a raid "Arsenal" on Dec 2-7 to determine illegally stored weapons and explosives.
15 guns were seized during the raid. Protocols were drawn up against 193 people on violation of storage and transportation of firearms and violation of the registration deadlines.
In addition, 12 committed crimes were solved, 4 drug-related crimes and 1 poaching case were determined, as well as 2 wanted persons were detained.
The police officers along with the public representatives checked about 1,700 legal owners of weapons and 29 objects of licensing system.
