Man sets wife on fire in Karakol

AKIPRESS.COM - A man set his wife on fire in Karakol town, the Issyk-Kul region internal affairs directorate reported on Jan 9.
Police received a call on Jan 4 at 16:20 that a man poured petrol on woman and set her on fire near a cafe on Torgoyeva street.
Investigation revealed that a 35-year-old resident of Maman village in the Ak-Suu district had a fight with his 33-year-old wife from Bogatyrovka village, and as a result of brawl he set her on fire.
The woman was taken to the hospital with the burns.
The suspect was detained and arrested for 2 months.
