Restrictions imposed at Kordai checkpoint from Feb 20

AKIPRESS.COM - Due to a large-scale reconstruction at the Kordai checkpoint, passage of people, transport and goods will be restricted, the border service of Kazakhstan reported.
The limitations started operating from February 20, 2020.
The statement says only pedestrians, the citizens of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, can pass the border from 6:00 am to 24:00 with small hand luggage.
Foreign citizens, the owners of vehicles, cargos and goods, are recommended to use other checkpoints of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border.
The following checkpoints are working as normal:
Karasu road (Kazakhstan) - Ak-Tilek road (Kyrgyzstan);
Sypatay Batyr road (Kazakhstan) - Chaldybar road (Kyrgyzstan);
Aisha-Bibi - road (Kazakhstan) - Chon-Kapka road (Kyrgyzstan);
Kegen road (Kazakhstan) - Karkyra road (Kyrgyzstan);
Merke railway (Kazakhstan) - Kaindy railway (Kyrgyzstan).
The border can be also crossed at:
Sartobe road (Kazakhstan) - Tokmok road (Kyrgyzstan);
Aukhatty road (Kazakhstan) - Ken-Bulun road (Kyrgyzstan).
