AKIPRESS.COM - Those who arrive from China, Japan, Iran and South Korea to be quarantined for 14 days, according to the government meeting on coronavirus situation and precautionary measures.
During the meeting, it was noted that the list will be amplified depending on the epidemiological situation in the world.
No coronavirus cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan by February 24, according to the government.
141 people people remain under quarantine for coronavirus and 391 people are under medical monitoring at place of residence. All the checkpoints on the state border of Kyrgyzstan are working in the reinforced regime.
The representatives of Foreign Ministry, State Border Service, State Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Center also briefed on taken measures.
Every person arriving from the country with unfavorable epidemiological situation is scanned with a thermal camera and tested for virus infection from the end of Jan, 2020.
Following the meeting, Vice PM Altynai Omurbakova gave instruction to a number of corresponding agencies.
The Foreign Ministry was instructed to strengthen the work with the citizens of Kyrgyzstan in China and provide all necessary support for the protection of their rights and health.
The Education Ministry was instructed to permanently hold awareness raising campaign among schoolchildren and students on coronavirus and on personal hygiene rules to prevent virus infections.
