AKIPRESS.COM - The Naryn mayor's office is closed for 72 hours, Deputy Health Minister Madamin Karataev told the online briefing today.
Such decision was made by the emergency epidemiological commission yesterday after the vice mayor tested positive for COVID-19. The building was disinfected.
"It turned out the building is shared by the city and district administrations. The talks were held with the mayor and district governor. We suggested to send all workers home to work remotely. Return to their work places is possible only in 3 days and in strict adherence to sanitary and quarantine norms," Deputy Health Minister Karataev said.
The vice mayor of Naryn contracted COVID-19 at work, the press office said. He was taken to the isolator. All contacts have been established and tested for COVID-19.
