Issyk-Kul region to focus on domestic tourism this year

AKIPRESS.COM - Focus will be made on domestic tourism this year, Issyk-Kul region governor Akylbek Osmonaliev told a press briefing today. The draft of requirements for tourism industry entities has been prepared already, he said.
The document will be sent to the Tourism Department under the Ministry of Culture for review.
"The document will be submitted to the Ministry of Health then. In case the epidemiological situation is good in next few days, we will consider the time for opening tourist season on the recommendation of the Health Ministry and Tourism Department," the governor said.
