Supreme Court responds to MP Mamashova's statement about acquittal of 22yo man accused of raping 13yo girl

AKIPRESS.COM - The man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl was taken to the house arrest, the Supreme Court said in a statement commenting on MP Aisulu Mamashova's statement made at the parliament today. Mamashova said that judge Aibek Ernis uulu acquitted a 22-year-old man who raped a 13-year-old girl in the Bishkek Park toilet.
After investigation was completed, the case made it to the court, said the Supreme Court.
Pervomay district court acquitted the suspect over the lack of elements of crimes, and the Bishkek city court upheld the ruling.
Now the criminal case is under consideration of the Supreme Court, the statement said.
