Night and hookah bars to be closed in Cholpon-Ata

AKIPRESS.COM - Night bars and hookah lounge bars will be closed in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region governor Balbak Tulobaev, who accompanied President Jeenbekov on his visit to the region, said.
Health resorts and vacation hotels are recommended to follow safety measures, otherwise they will be shut down, the governor said.
"The region has enough supply of equipment and medicines. The Ministry of Health dispatched medical teams. The government provides assistance in addressing current issues. Volunteers and businessmen provide support as well," the governor stated.
The situation is getting better in the region, the daily coronavirus cases are declining, the governor added.
President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today visited the infectious diseases department of Cholpon-Ata hospital, which is under major repair now.
