Sale of emeralds for $500,000 and ancient gold coin foiled in Tashkent

AKIPRESS.COM - The State Customs Committee uncovered activities of the group in Tashkent, which sold precious stones and ancient coins.
Five caught red-handed while trying to sell 2,531 kg of emeralds for $500,000, antique gold coin for $10,000.
The coin is dated back to the 3rd century AD.
One of the detainees had 3 diamonds in his wallet.
The seized precious stones and the ancient gold coin are estimated at $1.6 milion.
