AKIPRESS.COM - Political scientist Marat Kazakpaev is one of the suspects of high treason, the National Security Committee confirmed on April 14.
Kazakpaev and citizen with initials M.T. were detained by security officers on April 13 for treason.
Kazakpaev was born on January 29, 1966. He graduated from the Faculty of History of the Kyrgyz State National University in 1994.
He was a senior lecturer at the Department of Political Science of the International Relations Department of the Kyrgyz National University, an expert of the Polis Asia analytical center, a senior researcher at the department of international problems at the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences.
