Road leading to Sary-Chelek lake repaired by locals themselves in anticipation of tourists

AKIPRESS.COM - The road leading to the Sary-Chelek lake is being repaired in Jalal-Abd region, said Ernis Tokobayev, director of the Sary-Chelek nature reserve. The repair efforts are taken by local foresters and residents of Arkyt village, he said.
"A lot of crushed stone piled up on this road after the rains. Some sections have fallen through, potholes have formed. We try to repair the road before the summer for the arrival of tourists," said Tokobayev.
50% of the road leading to the lake Sary-Chelek is covered with small stones, he added.
