Xi Jinping thanks Emomali Rahmon for aid

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received a message from Chinese President Xi Jinping on February 19, in which the Chinese leader thanked his Tajik counterpart for aid in fight against coronavirus, the Tajik president's press service reported. "The people of China under leadership of the Chinese government is fighting against pneumonia. We are fully confident and convinced we are able to win the battle with epidemic prevention," Xi Jinping said.
"I attach a big importance to development of relations between China and Tajikistan and I am ready to continue close contacts with you for the purpose of further development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation for the benefit of two nations," President Xi Jinping said.
