Servicemen of Alfa special forces of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan will be released after the authorities fulfill the conditions of Almazbek Atambayev's supporters. Ex-head of the presidential administration Farid Niyazov stated to 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the conditions remain the same - to turn on communications and withdraw all power units from Koi-Tash.
"The special forces employees are in complete safety now. Their life is not in danger; no one beats them. These people cannot be called hostages, since those who came peacefully and captured them are hostages. Our conditions were voiced yesterday to the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kursan Asanov. However, the security forces were not taken out of Koi-Tash. We were ready to release them at 6.00, but since the authorities did not do anything, they continue to be here," said Farid Niyazov.
He also could not voice the exact number of security officials, according to preliminary data, there are six of them.
